When it comes to making the most of our upcoming summer vacation, what more can we ask for but a flattering swimsuit cut to help us flaunt our figure and an interesting shape to spruce things up?

Truth is, not many people are confident about showing up wearing nothing but a bathing suit no matter how amazing their bodies are. Even models have their insecurities just as ordinary people do, which is why the designers from all around the world have finally started thinking outside of the box, and designing for women of all shapes and sizes, making their designs ultra modern, interesting and fashionable.

From the amazing colors to even more interesting cuts, swimwear of 2016 is definitely promising.

Since it’s already June and we bet you are thinking about getting your perfect piece of swimwear, we are giving you a list of models you won’t help but fall in love with.

Warning! All cuts and styles are so incredibly stunning; you might want to sit down for this. *

Uniquely Utilitarian

Trending for a few seasons now, the utilitarian kind of swimsuit is super-simple, functional and smooth in design. The preferred colors for these types of swimwear are usually muted; the sizes are plenty (from skinny to oversize) and are sometimes exorbitant. What gives these swimsuits that special oomph are ornaments like ribbing, zippers, buttons, etc.

Baywatch Cuts

What do you mean you don’t remember Baywatch? Ah, you youngsters! Anyhow, either ask your older brother for an update on the show (just so you could understand the base of this swimwear inspiration) or Google it yourself, but make sure you understand what Baywatch cuts are all about.
The high-cut, ‘80s-style, C.J. Parker-approved swimsuits are edgy and daring, and they do require a great figure. These swimwear pieces are so difficult to wear that that particular difficulty is making them so attractive.  Look for them in neon hues, awning stripes and subtle metallic sheens.

One Shoulder

A one shoulder swim piece is going to be huge in 2016. It’s designed for those gorgeous girls with an edge and a confidence that’s almost palpable. Chic and interesting, a one shoulder will perfectly match your tribal tattoo (real or henna) and any form of braid hairstyles you happen to be into the upcoming summer. Plus, it definitely won’t fail to make an impact, no matter the color you opt for.

Sporty Look

Athleisure trend is huge right now! From fitness  tops to swimsuit tops, sports swimwears are going to be preferred in two-piece combos although a one-piece is going to be embraced, too. To avoid looking too juvenile in your athleisure look, avoid busy patterns; the trick is to go for sporty cuts that tell a story.

Prairie-Girl Sleeves

A bit challenging to pull off (after all, you don’t want to look like a six-year-old with arm floaties) although incredibly chic, prairie-girl sleeves swimsuit will give your swimwear ensemble a romantic, innocent vibe every woman wants to pull off, at least once.
As for the colors and patterns, this type of swimsuit tolerates everything – from single colors to busy patterns, oversized or tiny sleeves, this type of swimwear will grab attention for sure. If you want to look super darling while, at the same time, staying true to the lace up trend that will kill it all throughout 2016, look for the swimsuit done entirely in lace or with lace sleeves that channel gentleness and romance.
