Is your heart racing whenever you spot Gisele Bündchen’s firm thighs, Kendall Jenner’s flat tummy, Gigi Hadid’s fit and round behind, Adriana Lima’s flawless arms or Candice Swanepoel’s perfect hourglass shape? Sure it is. Ours is, too!
Well, you know what? Those bodies aren’t like they are because the models are stuffing their faces with greasy pastry thrills. When it comes to their food choices and eating healthy, they are everything but reckless. Self-control, food intakes in moderation followed by strict damage control – that’s what’s happening.
If you are looking to adopt supermodels’ habits and hopefully get your body banging, here are some suggested and approved breakfast recipes you’ll want to try out (hint: they are incredibly rich in taste and easy to prepare).
Veggie Plate
Gisele Bündchen will be the first one to show her enthusiasm for the freshly picked veggies grown in her own garden. She insists that a plate of veggies in the morning (or any variation to it, like a smoothie or a shake made with fresh ingredients) will kick start our metabolism and help us be light as a feather for the rest of the day. Obviously, a snack within the next three or four hours is mandatory because it’s all about helping your metabolism run fast and burn calories.
Summer Fruit Salads
Is there anything as energizing and tasty as cold fruit during hot summer days? Models like Karlie Kloss love their summer salads made with various combinations of fruits with an added flavor of Greek yogurt (yogurt is optional). If she isn’t going for the classic – egg white omelet, Karlie loves to start her day with something sweet, tasty and refreshing. A summer berry watermelon salad is, by far, her favorite as it’s super easy and fast to make, and it’s giving her enough energy for her morning intense workout. Doutzen Kroes also loves her fruit smoothies, Liu Wen goes for yogurt, nuts and berries while Naomi Campbell likes to ‘green juice’ it up.
All Things Green
Just ask Miranda Kerr and she’ll tell you green and organic mixed up in a perfectly tasty smoothie is the thing to consume in the morning. She is also a big fan of hot water with lemon prior to any solid foods, so you may also try that. While drinking/eating a green smoothie only may seem a bit too little, truth is – the green nutrients are incredibly powerful and will give your body the energy it needs. Miranda loves making her green mixes in the morning with her son and says that’s their favorite part of day, as they are staying fit and healthy together.
Pancake Delight
Now this one seems a bit unlikely, but okay. Lara Stone says she loves her mini pancakes in the morning and she eats them often. Although we’ve never heard the recipe for these famous pancakes that she eats and yet manages to stay super-hot, we can only guess they are made with whole grain flour, eggs, Greek yogurt and no additives. Oh well – maybe we should all try it and see how it goes?
All Classic Tastes
Seems like the stunning Andrea Diddy is one of our kind, after all (although she looks a million times better than any of us do). Andrea recently posted her classic breakfast on Instagram: an omelet featuring eggs, zucchini, tomatoes and herb. She says her favorite recipe is “egg-white omelet with vegetables and oats with berries and cinnamon apples “. Sounds super tasty!
Oats And Whatnot
Doutzen Kroes loves her oats, no doubt there. Her Instagram profile holds not only her backstage photos but the breakfasts, smoothies and dinners she makes for her family, too. Just recently, she’s shared a pic tagged “Breakfast for Phyllon (her son) and me #oatmeal #almondmilk #gojiberries #dates and #banana”. The advantage of this smoothie (apart from it being yuummm!) is that it’s not calorie-intense yet it’s giving you so much energy. We can make this one right, too… right?
