Our skin protects our body and organism, which is why it is crucial to pay more attention when choosing cosmetic products. More and more people opt for organic cosmetics nowadays. Why do they do that? Packed with natural components, organic cosmetic products are considered a better option for skin and body care, which is, if you pay attention to the advantages, pretty reasonable.

Organic cosmetic is safer and toxic-free

By switching to skincare and makeup products labelled as organic, you are actually protecting your entire organism from toxins generously added into popular cosmetic products. Some of them are the following:

  1. Benzoates or Benzoic acid – Included in the majority of conventional cosmetic products as a preservative, benzoic acid can lead to respiratory infections and gastro-enteric issues. Most of products labelled as 100% organic are free from benzoates.
  2. Paraffin – As one of the most common petroleum derivatives, paraffin is usually added to conventional face creams and body lotions, while the majority of organic products also excludes it. It increases the chances for various skin infections since it blocks the pores.
  3. Parabens – Also derived from petroleum, parabens are present in almost all cosmetics (especially deo sprays) you can find on the market, including those falsely marked as natural. Recent research proved its relation with breast cancer and hormonal disorders. Parabens are among the most harmful cosmetic substances that can be found in cosmetics.
  4. Aluminium – The basic component of almost all antiperspirants, aluminium is used as a sweat preventer, but it actually blocks the pores and disturbs the normal sweating process. Antiperspirants marked as organic shouldn’t contain aluminium, which is known as the cause of many diseases, such as cancer, Alzheimer’s disease etc.

Naturally made products are more skin-compatible

Our skin is designed to recognize matter from nature, so natural ingredients will be accepted by your skin cells better than artificial compounds from regular cosmetics. Natural ingredients are able to coexist with skin processes without any forced action, which is why organic cosmetics produce more beneficial effects and result in healthier skin care.

Natural cosmetics feed the skin with right components

Ingredients from conventional cosmetics actually attack your skin cells with water, petroleum carbons and salts. Thanks to the abundance of completely natural minerals, vitamins, natural oils and acids which are the foundation of organic cosmetics, your skin is provided with substances essential to maintain its natural renewal process and hydration. Precious components in organic products come from organically grown plants, so the skin is not pressured with chemical additives, but nourished and energized completely naturally.

Natural cosmetic products don’t lack efficiency

Most people hesitate to turn to natural products thinking that they are less efficient than standard cosmetics. Due to their natural base, organic creams and lotions are better absorbed by the skin, which increases the repairing process and improves balance in the organism. Organic makeup, especially products in direct contact with the skin such as eye shadows and lipsticks, allow equally good appearance as conventional makeup without the risk to get infections or contaminate your body with toxins.

There are many benefits of organic cosmetics, so it is definitely something you should try out, and you’ll immediately see the difference!
