The fall of 2015 is going to be spectacular, fashion – wise. From fun furs and big belts to capes, this season surprises us with such stunning pieces.
Designers like Oscar de la Renta, Balmain, Marni, Guy Laroche, Rochas, Fausto Puglisi, Balenciaga, Anthony Vaccarello, Dolce & Gabbana, Louis Vuitton, Givenchy, Jason Wu and many others are shaping the upcoming fall in spectacular ways.
BIG BELTS
Once again, waist accentuation matters. Big bold oversize belts draw the eye to the midriff, building hourglass shapes, giving outfits the sass they deserve. And while this season “boxing championship belt” dimensions weren’t the focus of designers, the excitement is still there. Brands like Balmain, House of Holland and Marni are embracing this wonderful accessorize!
CAPES
Capes will be much loved in the fall of 2015, too! Seems like this trend simply won’t go and we love it! Capes are great statement alternatives to coats an if you can pull them off, you’ll have a fantastic piece of clothing and accessory on your back!
ATHLEISURE
Athleisure is the fashion yes-yes! The worlds of tailoring and casual clothing have collided and created a trend that is definitely expected to grow in years to come. Such brands like Paco Rabanne, Cedric Charlier and Carven are especially proud to embrace and launch this trend.
FUN FUR
Fur still remains among our favorite accessorize for the winter. Catwalks were flooded with super interesting fur designs with the new twist on them that’s given them a completely new appeal.
PLEATS
Pleats seem not be going anywhere this upcoming fall! What we’ll be enjoying this time around are wide varieties of pleated skirt, pant and top options. There will be plenty of options to choose from – from fan to box or carwash and knife, the pleat will definitely find the way to stand out. Balmain embraced the trend big time!
PATCHWORK
It’s no surprise that patchwork was designer favorite all throughout spring/summer 2015 season and it’s definitely planning on not going away. The powerful juxtaposition of textures, colors and fabrics showed how splicing and dicing of denim, furs, knitwear motifs and snakeskin can be put together in amazing combinations and make fabulous fashion statements!
WES ANDERSON
The Wes Anderson effect! A number of designers played with this effect, putting together brilliant showpieces. Designers like Veronica in good company with brands like Gucci, Bally and Lacoste dived into the adorable yet odd Anderson universe for inspiration.
OVERSIZE KNITWEAR
Oversize knitwear is definitely written down in fashion critics’ notebooks as one of this season’s staples! And while it may look a bit dull if not styled properly, the comfy weave plans on marking the season. This is probably the best time to invest in some new knits with so many great options to choose from, like Sacai, Calvin Klein, Nehera and Louis Vuitton.
STATEMENT SHOES
No fashion trend can be complete without innovative takes on shoe designers come up with every new season. For the upcoming season, all of you fashionistas are to expect crystal-covered heel-less heels, patchwork boots, sexy knee-high black lace-up boots and pink pompons on silver sandals, just to name a few. Footwear is, as always, a feast for the eyes for everyone obsessed with wonderful (usually uncomfortable, but who cares) shoe designs!
