Christmas is just around the corner and this means only one thing – a lot of festivities! Here at HSL, we love to celebrate fashionably and that is why we use this rare occasion to write about our personal styles. Thus, we continue the tradition of bringing you the outfit choices that we have opted for in order to elevate our styles for Christmas and the holidays, and we hope that our ideas will help you get inspired and see that the celebratory style can come in various shapes, colors and patterns.
Fiona’s secret to cozy-chic
You all know that I love trends, but I will also never give up on being cozy and comfortable in what I wear. Thus, my ideal holiday outfit consists of a chunky white sweater that I have matched with a romantic white, silk skirt. To make myself stand out from the all-white surroundings that are unavoidable when there is snow everywhere in Europe and to keep the outfit minimalistic in terms of colors, I will go for a pair of black boots. A long, woolen coat is there to keep me warm and fashionable, as big, teddy coats are, once again, on-trend.
Brigitte’s party in irresistible red
If you have been following the HSL team for years, you will know that I love celebrating the holiday season by wearing bold, all-red outfits. This year, however, I have decided to say no to dresses and I have chosen a sexy maroon jumpsuit. This specific jumpsuit has an intricate detail around the waist, which is flattering for my figure and I will match it with a pair of simple, but effective black, strappy sandals. As it is Christmas time, I will need some sparkle, and that is why I will go for a subtle, diamond bracelet and not-so-subtle, sparkly hoops. A glittery, structure clutch and a bold, red lip will finish off this festive look in the best way possible.
Claire’s feminine minimalism
I will be in Europe for the holidays, so for me, it is traditionally essential that my outfit is both warm and fashionable. That is why my choice is a black turtleneck matched with a long, oversized pepito blazer. The girly vibe is also present in my black, asymmetrical mini skirt and in my footwear option, black boots with a chunky heel. My blonde hair will look glamorous with a few romantic waves and the festive tone of the look will be accentuated with a pair of delicate gold hoops.
Dianna’s charming LBD
The little black dress is my favorite go-to and I love wearing different versions of this item. This time, I have decided to go for a black pencil dress with long sleeves. To make the look a bit more jolly, I will go for some zircons on my retro-inspired heels and on my clutch. Voluminous, sexy waves are a must when it comes to hair and to accentuate the whole look, but also, not go overboard with the details, I will accessorize with a pair of lovely, pearl studs.
Peter’s elegance in athleisure
You all know that I am not the type of guy who will wear a tuxedo when heading off to celebrate; therefore, I will stick to my usual and casual style. However, instead of my fun, cotton tees, I will go for an elegant, yet nonchalant black, turtleneck shirt. My staple athleisure sneakers will look amazing on dark cargo pants and in case it gets a bit chilly during the night, a green bomber jacket will keep me stylish and warm.
Sophia’s purple details
My love for feminine and romantic dresses has been established on multiple occasions and it won’t be any different this time. My choice is an exquisite backless, sequin dress with trendy puff sleeves. The sparkly, silver-tone will also be visible on my exquisite chandelier earrings and black heeled mules. I will not be wearing a lot of colors, but the key detail of my outfit will be in the girly and fun purple nails. I will be fully prepared to celebrate only when I put on a few drops of my cherished perfume and I will make sure to bring it with me in my unique over-the-shoulder clutch.
Mia’s sparkles and glam
Wearing anything sparkly may be unexpected from a goth/pin-up lover, but during the holiday season, I love to switch up my style. That is why I have decided to wear an attractive silver-tone, mini lace dress, with some fringe on the bottom. The glam is present in my choice of glitzy sandals and in the Old Hollywood-inspired hairstyle. When it comes to makeup, bold eyebrows will look amazing with my beloved red lipstick.
Finally, we can say that it is certain that the whole Highstylife Crew will enjoy celebrating Christmas and wearing our lovely outfits of choice. We sure hope that our ideas will be of help to you when you start creating your ideal festive outfit and we wish you a very Merry Christmas!
