International hiking adventure company brings an original, multi-day festival to America
Big Bear LAKE, Calif. A once sought-after destination during the California Gold Rush will now become a genuine gold mine for hikers ready to test their physical limits and be in complete harmony with nature over several days.
Big Bear Lake The jewel of the San Bernardino National Forest in Southern California, will serve as the initial U.S. location for the internationally acclaimed HIGHLANDER event series from Sept. 27 to October. 2. 2022 when HIGHLANDER Adventure expands to America.
HIGHLANDER Big Bear Lake Hiking will have three different styles The three formats are HIGHLANDER (60 miles) which is a five-day trip HIGHLANDER (30 miles), a three-day journey; and HIGHLANDER (15 miles) for a weekend trip.
HIGHLANDER is truly a one-of-a-kind experience. In the HIGHLANDER hike, every participant is able to connect with nature, and can begin to view life through a new perspective. The trail will test participants, but they’ll conquer it, meeting new people and making use of all five senses along the trail. Because HIGHLANDER is not a race , and there are no winners or losers, participants — even strangers — will cheer one another up.
HIGHLANDER was established in Croatia in 2017 , when three trio Jurica Barac, Igor Mlinarevic and Andrej Mlinarevic decided to share their love and enthusiasm for hiking long distances.
